very nice country drive

This is a very beautiful highway especially during fall for colorful leaves because we live in this beautiful area, sometimes we have to stop and realize how nice it really is

I grew up in southwestern PA and spent many days with my family on this highway heading to Shawnee State Park, Ligoner, Bedford and Breezewood. Sometimes I worry no one will get off the Turnpike to enjoy this drive on Route 30. So many places to stop and enjoy visiting antique and collectibles shops, scenic drives, gift shops and most... We took a trip from Bedford Pennslvania to the Flight 93 Memorial and it was just beautiful. We continued on Rt 30 all the way to Fort Legioneer. We would have never stopped at the Fort if we didn't take the Lincoln Highway. There are many interesting history along the way. A must for your bucket list.

the historic Lincoln Highway stretches from Times Square in New York City across the country. Aims to identify, conserve, promote, and interpret the cultural, historical, natural, recreational, and economic resources.

Since our home is just minutes away from the historic Old Lincoln Highway in Bucks County, PA, I was interested in seeing what sights that long stretch of roadway offered in the area around Bedford County. One of the most eye-catching sights, in addition to the fall foliage & log homes, was that of a barn mural depicting the highway's... More

The Lincoln Highway was America's first transcontinental highway and stretches to New York to San Fransisco. We drove just a small potion of it in PA, from Everett to Stoystown but it was such a hoot. This section has a bunch of 'Roadside Giants' -large statues along the road; think giant quarter, coffee pot, or pied piper! There are lots... More

Part of the Bedford Springs you could walk to. The charm of the area and the beautiful woods and streams made for such a romantic setting.

A good, scenic drive that gives you a break from the monotonous Interstate. We drove the stretch between I-75 and Bardstown, didn't make any stops but still enjoyed the hills and rural land along the route.
