Overview
More
The Historic Round Barn & Farm Market is a family owned and operated farm market just 8 miles west of the Civil War town Gettysburg. Built in 1914, it is one of only a handful of truly round barns surviving today. Set in a scene of picturesque Pennsylvania foothills, you'll love its beautiful architecture against the rolling, orchard-covered hills. Whether you're here for an event, our fresh fruit, or just exploring, we think you'll find it's a truly well rounded experience. Treat yourself to our very own seasonal specialties cultivated with the farming wisdom of four generations, or try our some (literally) hand-picked features from our friendly family farming neighbors.

We have been visiting the Historic Round Barn & Farm Market every Fall for about a decade to purchase some of the best apples in PA! The round barn also is a farm market that sells local produce and is an historic site. Our favorite...More

We had 3 couples with us. We visit Gettysburg at least once a year and we stop here every time before we leave town. This time was no different. Only one problem. The one couple that was with us, bought 3 bushels of apples. They...More

Sorry to hear that your experience at the Round Barn was anything but enjoyable. This is certainly not indicative of the culture and values we operate by as a small family business and your treatment was unacceptable. Every customer is important to us and we...More

I thought this would be an operating cattle farm. I was looking forward to seeing the stantions, manure cleaner, the feeding process... The market was fun to see & look over the various products. Being from out of town & flying, I couldn't purchase as...More

Easy to find about a mile north of Route 30. Lots of apples, butters, pickles, ciders, etc to choose from. The ladies who open at 9am are very friendly. I parked way up on top and walked down and wonder if the signs are adequate...More

Thanks for stopping by and sorry the parking signs might have caused some confusion. For future visits to the Round Barn you can park in the paved parking lot when spots are available. The parking sign you noticed was for "overflow" parking when the lot...More

The outside is great, but the inside is wonderful. Great Farmer's Market with lots and lots of food. Go upstairs and you can view how the barn was made, by seeing the rafters and the silo. Admission is free. Animals outside for kids to view.

This is a big and impressive barn! We arrived pretty late in the day, so I'm sure we didn't see it fully-stocked. Still, there is an enormous amount of retail-space packed into this building. Pickled everything, jams, produce, handicrafts, etc. are all available and on...More

Glad you enjoyed your visit and we think our barn is pretty neat too. We do tend to let the produce that is best refrigerated dwindle down towards the end of the day so we can keep the rest of it as fresh as possible...More
