Take a step back in time to the Victorian era of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Bristol was home to a prosperous woolen mill, in addition to many prosperous agricultural and factory endeavors. As a result of the area's generated wealth and thoughtful preservation, the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Museum is a wonderful lasting legacy. Although this treasured estate can be overlooked... We visited the Grundy Museum as part of a bus trip. We were divided into small groups so our tour of the home was excellent. The woodwork is spectacular, along with a very intricate stained glass panel in the front room. After touring the home, we walked through the outdoor areas and the library. The entire complex is on the... More

A historical look back at the Grundy Family home. The docent here must be related to my husband's family somehow because she knew the same stories about working at the mill as his relatives told him. She made the home come alive telling about the history of each family member and the changes made to the home over time. Visiting here made us feel connected with history. A great... More

If you get to tour the mansion, it is wonderful. I would have loved to live in it. Beautiful woodwork, gorgeous windows and incredible antiques! A must for local history buffs. The library next door is a great place to study and sit a gaze at the river!

Wonderful view of the river. Library is beautiful. We recently attended a display of the Delaware canal that runs from Easton Pa. to Bristol Pa.
