Friends of ours won a tasting with charcuterie, and we went along. Jennifer helped us and did an excellent job of explaining the nuances of each wine we tasted. Honestly, we enjoyed all the wines we tasted! I’ve never been to a tasting where I could say that! Two standouts were the Dry Rosé and the Petit Verdot. Looking forward to a return visit!

Very poor Customer Service. Reached out to them twice by email and once through the mail over the course of a few months. Never reaponded to anything. I had bid on and won a Certificate for wine tasting and wanted to know how to proceed. Since it was a long drive, wanted to know how to schedule. Never used the Certificate and threw it away.

I contacted winery twice in 2020 and never got a response. Once was by email, the second time by mail. I had bid and won a wine tasting at a local fundraiser and wanted to know how to proceed.

Jennifer shared her extensive knowledge of the Allegro wines and provided us with 7 to taste -- we were offered more than 30 from which to choose. There were 4 of us in the group and each of us got to choose our own 7, which I thought was very helpful because we all did not want the same things.
There was a beautiful covered outdoor sitting area surrounded by flowers as well as plenty of space to sit inside had the weather been poor.\
No tours of the winery itself; not a place for children or large groups. Not pretentious - fun and casual.
I clicked on "food available at this place" because they offer cheese, etc. but this is not a place for a meal.

Wide variety of wines to taste. They have an area out side for family gathering or wedding reception... Beautiful area 😍

Yesterday my husband and I slipped away for a wine tasting at Allegro Vineyard/winery. We were greeted by one of the staff and asked to wait for a minute--it was quite busy when we arrived. Very quickly we were given a spot and we spent the next 30-45 minutes tasting wine and chatting with Rebecca. Rebecca was a delight and we exchanged stories about places we've visited and wines we liked. If you are sociable you will find more than just wine tasting here. I can almost guarantee that you'll find something you like here because Allegro has such a wide variety of wines. We left with a case of mixed wines ranging from a lovely Chardonnay to some delightful fruity dessert wines. It was a great way to spend an hour or two.

Glad we stopped in. Walking down this beautiful historic street at the Strasburg location, we noticed the beautiful building with a winery. We are always up for a tasting!
I sampled reds. Really enjoyed the selection. Surprisingly enjoyed the port.

We started with a tasting and selected a red and white. We then headed out to the deck to have a picnic lunch. Luckily their deck is covered as a storm approached. We purchased a case prior to leaving and received 10% off. Prices were great! We'll be back for sure.

Visited here recently with some friends. The main tasting room is somewhat small, but the layout, music and general vibe was pretty cool. The staff were great. We had a lot of fun chatting it up with them.
We got to try s handful of wines for a few dollars, which is pretty typical that's days. They have a nice selection of reds, whites and fruit wines. Between me and the other members of my party we each had one or two wines that stood out for each of us.
I personally enjoyed the reserved Chardonnay. The other wines I tried were good to okay. My friends particularly enjoyed the duet and Merlot. A lot has to do with preference.
In general we had a lot of fun coming here and had some good wines. I would recommend coming here

Is there a lot of walking involved in the tour and how should I dress?

Parking is right outside of the winery. I didn't take the tour but would imagine very little walking. Cute little covered patio outside, plus 3 tables with umbrellas. As far as how to dress, depends on the weather. As fall is here, temperatures are a tad cooler.
