Bryn Marw College complex is a gorgeous high level of architecture, just outside the NE Philly. Well built, well kept, absolutely beautiful! If you are lucky, at times they allow to get to the top of one of their towers. Wow! What a view!!

I recently went for a walk across the leafy campus of Bryn Mawr College looking at the various architectural styles that have evolved since the college opened in the late 19th century. The collegiate Gothic revival style of that era with its turrets and archways prevails and various compatible additions made their appearance later. The most dramatic of these is... More

Beautiful architecture, nice people, and great facilities, Bryn Mawr College is a great place. My family took pictures for holiday cards here because it was so pretty. It is also a great place to take walks. They have hammocks!

Extraordinarily beautiful college campus located in the leafy Philadelphia suburb of Bryn Mawr. Great place to take the dog for a walk. Vistas are stunning and, if you come in the winter, there is good sledding on the hills!

We have heard many of the World's great Authors ie. Doctorow, Umberto Eco, Zadie Smith. at this annual lecture series. Call the College for a schedule. These were presented conversationally and a question period was provided. Also concerts and other presentations are offered. Prices vary. Parking nearby.

Visited my daughter and saw the campus for the first time. Love the architecture and grounds -- in particular, Thomas Library and Goodhart Hall. In relation to the number campuses I've visited and/or attended, this is a good-looking one. It reminds me of a couple of schools I've seen in England. My daughter took me through a few other buildings... More

I tried to go to a concert here- a concert open to the public with a hefty ticket price. Parking is rough. but that's the least of it. Trying to find the proper building... bring a frigging crystal ball or a divining rod! You have to find the building with no signs. In the dark. Then you have to find... More

My daughter is applying here, so we did a campus tour on a gorgeous summer day that really brought out the best of the campus, which was designed by Calvert Vaux and Frederick Law Olmsted (the latter is the "father" of American landscape architecture. The Philadelphia architectural firm of Cope and Stewardson designed the main buildings to reflect Oxford and... More
