I have visited the Historical Society on several occasions, through the Carlisle Chamber Mixers. They have fantastic displays and events. The staff is always helpful and passionate. I am not a big history person but I enjoyed the displays and information on my new town.

I stopped to check family records. The librarian was more than helpful showing me how to use the in-house search computer and volunteering several helpful resources.

Nice space to view and study local history. I especially like their gift shop on High Street. It carries books, art, gifts, etc.
