A quick stop in the shop/welcome center to help plan the day found a most engaging woman with a joyful pride in Carlisle. A number of local craft items, things to do leaflets and other items.

The place to go to start your visit. Whats on, where is what, who is who and so on. We found out many things just in time or we would have missed the events. Great for browsing and easy to chat.
