The museum is small but interesting and informative with lots of hands-on attractions for children. The volunteers working there were brimming with facts and anxious to answer questions or assistance.

Stopped here to rent some paddle boats on the canal and had a nice time. Staff very pleasant and helpful. They also were running the canal boat which we have done prior and is a nice relaxing ride where you also learn some historical facts...More

It is a National Heritage Area, I enjoy outings where you can learn while having fun. The museum has so many hands on activities,which is great for children. The tour guide on the canal ride was very knowledgeable.
