The Erie Zoo, is a easily walked, mostly flat day trip. Lots of picnic areas and a play ground. The train is a quaint ride, thru a tunnel and over a bridge. The children's area is very interactive.

You can easily walk this zoo in a couple of hours. Great for 5 and under. They finally tore down the playground...although my kids loved it, it was getting dirty and gross. I'm excited to see what they replace it with!

I do believe so. Parking seemed to be reasonably accessible. They added some stones to add room, you may have to walk a bit but there should be room.

Hi, I am sorry but I do not know the bus routes in Erie. You could call the bus transit terminal and ask. Sorry that I am not more help. Enjoy the Zoo. We loved it. Jennifer
