We buy season passes every year for Waldameer and look forward to going every summer. When I was a little girl my parents took me here quite often and I'm so happy that my 5 children love it just as much I do. There's something for everyone at this park from toddler rides like the Frogger to thrill rides like... More

On our trip across the country, we planned a few amusement parks and this was one of them. Similar to Knoebels, the park offers free admission to those who just like to watch. One of the best coasters around, The Ravine Flyer II goes across the highway and returns with smooth fast corners. There are also many classic rides on... More

This is a great summertime park for families, younger children included. It is right on the way to Presque Isle State Park. The parking lot is very big and there is no charge. There is no general admission price. You can get in for free if you just want to walk around, which is nice. If you wish to ride,... More

Free admission to the park itself is a real bonus for parents who don't want to ride. The park also offers picnic facilities to bring your own lunch. Whether you like roller coasters, kiddie rides or the water park, this family amusement park is great for kids and their parents. Fireworks are offered in the summer. The best deal in... More

We visit every year and sometimes twice. My kids are 4,11,17 and there are rides for all to have fun. I especially like the kiddie rides as there are many to choose from. you can ride with them on some rides. The wave pool was a nice addition. Many places to lounge. I do wish they had more roller coasters.... More

Waldameer while having some "thrill" rides is a bit dated. That being said it is very inexpensive to get in. Does not require ALL day to see. Being a fairly compact footprint is pretty easy for walking to. Something you should certainly do if you are from the area or passing through with extra time!

This park is one of my favorite destinations for summer fun. Waldameer is a wonderful small park with fun for the whole family. My favorite ride is the Whacky Shack, a rare Bill Tracy designed dark ride from the 1970s that has been maintained and updated throughout the years and continues to offer a spooky good time! The Ravine Flyer... More

Great variety of rides and the new rollercoaster is a thrilling addition! The waterpark was great as well. Try to catch the Ferris Wheel at sunset for a great view out over the lake to Canada :) We'll be back!
