Relaxing cruise on the Susquehanna

My husband and I took the 45 minute cruise. It was very informative. The story was narrated. The crew was very friendly. There isn't a bunch of seats outside but one of the crew told us to take chairs from the dinning area on the bottom. So if you must sit there are chairs. It is also inexpensive. A good... More

I've been on the Pride two separate times, the most recent was for a work outing where we rented the entire boat for 2 hours and catered the event. The captain and crew are very formal, where the captain himself shakes everyone's hands as they board the boat. The cruise is very relaxing, as the boat moves at a steady... More

Went on this riverboat for first time using a Groupon coupon. The ride was about 45 minutes long. Seating is limited on top but can sit in the dining room below if you want. They have a bar and serve drinks too. Riding on the old paddlewheel boat was worth it to do once.

My husband and I had a chance to take a cruise on the Pride of the Susquehanna with former classmates from his 50th high school reunion. It was a beautiful evening and we really enjoyed ourselves. Just take note that when the boat gets ready to pull off, they sound the horn and it is VERY, VERY loud especially if... More

I took my mother for a ride on the Pride of the Susquehanna. It's a beautiful boat. It's a 45 minute cruise on the river. It's something to do, but not a lot to write home about. It's NOT handicap accessible. We had to walk a long way from the parking area which was very painful. It was also difficult... More

Advertised as a 2 hour WINE and CHEESE cruise for $30 per person. Wine was essentially 2 small glasses (strangely some folks got pretty full glasses ) -- maybe friends. There was enough cheese. This seemed like nothing more than a marketing event for the wine and cheese with reps from both promoting their wares to including a travel agency... More

We have taken many rides on the Pride. When invited for a luncheon, found it to be very good food in a pleasant day.

We got a Groupon Coupon that brought down the price. Check them out; they are available most of the time and easy to use. Very relaxing and enjoyable short cruise. Great for families, as well as seniors and adults. Not crowded.

Approximately a 45-60 minute on a paddle wheel boat touring the Harrisburg area on the Susquehanna River. They point out that the river overflowed in the early 80's flooding the governor's mansion. If you're in Harrisburg for a day or two it's worth the trip.

I took my Mom out for the afternoon on the Pride of the Susquehanna. It was a warm and sunny summer day and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended to locals and visitors!
