Terrific museum with tons of artifacts and visual presentations. Plan to spend a few hours here to experience everything. Plenty of free parking, and the place is spacious enough that you will not feel cramped by other visitors.

We have travelled all over the world and have seen many museums. This museum is among the best we have ever visited. Superbly designed with concise information. Easy to follow from beginning of the War to the finish. Highly recommend!!

Loved the layout and presentation of the information and artifacts, thorough but not overwhelming. Also, video presentations of re-enactors are chronologically presented as they tell their stories through time. This place is a must for any and all history or Civil War enthusiasts.

The best place to start would be to contact the US Army Heritage & Education Center in Carlisle, PA and check one of their reference bibliographies on the 21st PA Calvary. I hope this helps!
