Great to have local theater!

I visit the PA Theater of Performing Arts on a regular basis. Love all of their productions! They offer a buffet dinner some weekends during the performances. Great food and wonderful shows are at a reasonable price. I enjoy the Sunday matinees with the meal. It's a nice way to spend an afternoon with family or friends. They offer children's productions also.

Love the Sunday dinner theater!

I have gone to several Sunday afternoon shows with the dinner in the last two years. The dinners are always very good and the plays are also. I plan to return again and have taken family and friends to the Theatre. This is truly a Hazleton gem!

I came upon this little gem not expecting a lot. Now I can't say enough. It is a community theatre and, if you like, you can come an hour and a half early for dinner. Total price per adult is only $35, 5 less if a senior.. I saw "Catch Me if You Can" It is a musical and very costly to produce, so I know this to be a great bargain.

The dinner was a buffet with all home made items. Salad, bread, ham and bean soup, meatball stroganoff, chicken parmesan, rigatoni, really delicious creamed corn, broccoli casserole, baby carrots. soda, coffee tea and absolutely wonderful, and again..homemade, desserts. cheesecake with fruit, banana cream pie, and three other things. OOOOHH really yummy.

Now, the musical play was really something. I was truly shocked to see such talent. The lead was an engineering student, believe it or not, who was every bit as good as you see in a professional stage. The rest of the cast was outstanding too. Not easy to find so much singing and dancing talent.

I will return as frequently as possible even though I live almost three hours away..

I highly recommend this venue. You will be pleased!
