Hershey starts here! How did Milton Hershey go from bankruptcy to brilliance, transforming chocolate from a luxury to an everyday treat? How did he invent a community? Why did he give away his fortune? That's the Hershey story. Enjoy a 45-minute, hands on class in the Chocolate Lab and sample warm drinking chocolate from around the world at Tastings. Grab a delicious treat from the Pantry Café and find a unique assortment of keepsakes and chocolate at Museum Shop.

Went to the museum on a Groupon with two young children. Restaurant was slow, crowded and overpriced. Museum was boring even for adults. Chocolate lab was sold out and they would not substitute the kids drinking chocolate for the regular even though it is cheaper.

We went here because we had complimentary tickets which were included in our stay at The Hershey Hotel. It was interesting, but didn't have too much and we pretty much saw everything in 40 minutes. For free it was ok. I would not go back.

Went here while on vacation at Hershey. The museum requires a bunch of reading which can get boring for little ones. There are options for chocolate tasting and they have scheduled activities for kids. There weren’t any available when we arrived. If you like to...More

Very interesting and informative. An enjoyable afternoon. Very well laid out. Elevator available. Shopped the Gift Shop. Had coffee & the largest Whoppie pies ever. Delicious.

Not what I expected. Not much to it. I took my 5 yr old. It is not something that will keep a small child's interest. I found the story interesting.

We recently moved to Hershey and I bought a membership to the museum. It was not worth it. Still had to pay for guests at regular rate, etc. The chocolate making class was fun and the museum was interesting but I can see that kids...More

Let's be clear - this isn't the amusement park or the gardens or the monorail tour - it's a somewhat interactive, self-guided tour of how it all began. If you like history - you will enjoy going back in time with Milton Hershey - reading...More

Yes, there is a difference. The Create Your Own Chocolate Bar is hands on and you walk along watching an actual conveyor belt as the candy bar is being made. As part of the process, you also design your own wrapper and... More
