Just WOW! I cannot say enough lovely things about Hershey Gardens! I was SO impressed and completely captivated as my dear friend and I explored the NEW Butterfly Conservatory and gorgeous Outdoor Gardens which I think are at least 35 acres! Definitely wear something comfy...More
I absolutely LOVED the butterfly atrium. I could have spent hours in there but apparently I wasn't the only one who thought so because it was so busy in there.
I really believe that I visited at the wrong time of year because everything was...More
I'm sure on April/May this place is adorable, but I have been for Orchidea and butterlies exbihitions (which was impressive) in another time (I don't remember exactly) and outside was poor.
Anyway, I didn't except too much and my target was that two exibitions, so...More
This was amazing! The butterfly room was spectacular! The roses were fragrant, the mums were in full bloom, the trees were very interesting and different. They take wonderful care of this place. A have to see.
While staying at the Hotel Hershey for our son’s wedding, we spent an entire rainy morning in the Butterfly Atrium at the Hershey Gardens. Wow!! So many beautiful butterflies floating through the air. Thanks to Michael, the on-site staff member, who spent nearly an hour...More

Although we've received free passes in the past to Hershey Gardens, for some reason we never took advantage of them. I'm glad we used them this visit to Hershey. The butterfly atrium was amazing. I loved seeing all the various butterflies fluttering all around me....More
We were there in the fall and caught the end of the roses and the beginning of the mums. It was very pretty, and I am sure it would be even better in the summer. Great how all the varities and trees are named.

It would depend on what those children enjoy. There’s a children’s garden with musical interactive toys and several other things that encourage imaginative play.. There are some really cool weeping trees that are fun to play under and climb on. My grandchildren are a little younger (oldest is 7) but love being there—We always have to make them leave. The butterfly garden is also great for kids. And there’s lots of room to just run around outside. We can easily spend a couple of hours there. That’s when the weather is nice 😊. They sometimes have special children ‘s activities, which could also help.
