Hershey Trolley Works is based in Hershey's Chocolate World, and all of our tours start and end there. We offer sightseeing, chocolate tasting, historical explorations of the inspiring story of Hershey 364 days a year.

During the summer and seasonal weekend of fall and Christmas, our format is a family friendly 45 minute show on the trolley where two actors bring the story to life in a uniquely entertaining way.

We also offer a more in depth 75 minute excursion on the trolley, guided by one of our highly entertaining conductors throughout the spring and fall, with limited offerings in summer as well.

We took a group of teenage on the chocolate & history tour. It was very informative & interesting. Our guide was a wealth of information. The bonus was all the chocolate they passed out along the way!

Have not done the tour for several year, but really enjoyed it the second time as well. It gives you the true in site of Hershey, not just the chocolate. Well worth a trip, but make a reservation.

What a charming tour of Hershey, PA! Loads of history made sweeter by the fact that our tour guide grew up in Hershey. He had intimate knowledge of every neighborhood combined with lots of stories from his youth and from his father's experience working for Mr. Hershey. About halfway through the ride, my husband and I began wishing WE had... More

Anyone wishing to learn about Hershey will highly enjoy the Trolley Works Tour. From the corporate world of HERCO, the Hershey Company, to The Milton Hershey School -- you will understand how this special town came into existence and is maintained today. Not to be missed.

I bought a ticket to ride the trolley. The price compared to the experience was well worth $15 dollars. I learned so much about the town of Hershey and the man Milton Hershey. The tour guide was very funny and had everyone laughing. I left with a deep appreciation for the work and generosity of Milton Hershey and the town.... More

We got tickets on the trolley for the Christmas lights tour instead of driving ourselves. We got easy entry on a weekend as well as campy host. We did the city tour previously so I can recommend that as well. Great for kids and accommodating to all ages. Campy humor but a great way to hear about the town story.

Wanted to see what this was all about. Even though it was expensive, we did it for the kids. They have never been on a trolley before, it is interactive, a Santa visit with him reading the kids' names off his list, a present for all the kids ion the trolley. Interesting facts about the history of Milton Hershey, takes... More

The Thursday before Christmas we enjoyed a great trolley ride on the Chocolate and History tour. Our conductor and driver...John and John...had a great rapport with each other. Friendly banter, and a lot of interesting stories. It was a little cheesy...but we laughed anyway! We were given a lot of candy on this tour, as well as a full sized... More

This was an amazing tour, the staff hopped on and off the trolley as we received the tour (plus free chocolate). I loved that you could smell chocolate throughout the town! Definitely worth the time and money to check out!
