Wonderful visit!!
Dec. 2019 • Couples
We visited in Dec 31st with another couple, and were lucky enough to be greeted by Jeff himself. We got a private tour and learned so much about the amazing work they are doing in Africa and the Caribbean. Wonderful chocolate and coffees. Do not miss!!

Amazing experience. Amazing hidden gem
Nov. 2019 • Couples
This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely amazing coffee and chocolates and their story of how far they have come is inspirational. We visited and took the Saturday am tour which was free. Tour included unlimited delicious chocolates and fresh brewed coffee that they make from scratch. Amazing company with super friendly employees that you can tell love their job. Great place to visit. Highly recommended

Our experience
Oct. 2019 • Couples
As we walked in today, Jeff met my wife and me with a very pleasant and welcoming smile. He told us the tale of his amazing journey of what led to Moka Origins. My wife and I were in awe! After which we were given a tour through the facility. We met Raj, an amazing man with an amazing and welcoming personality! He continued the tale of Moka where Jeff left off. We were given samples of their various chocolates... Where our taste buds were in overdrive with pleasure! Then, Raj gave us a sample of their espresso. Which was a rich, bold and flavorful coffee that, in my humble opinion, has no equal! At this point, Marco comes out and joined the conversation. Marko is the (master) roaster which is tasked with an amazing responsibility... To which he does not disappoint! Speaking with the members of Moka Origins, my wife and I realized a very important thing... Everyone there loves what they do and it shows (tastefully) in their products! We purchased several of their products and made a decision that Moka Origins will now be the official coffee of our home! We definitely recommend Moka Origins to everyone looking for excellent quality coffee as well as fine quality and delicious chocolate! A great big thank you to the members of Moka Origins for giving us an awesome experience today!

Awesome Visit!!
Sep. 2019
There were 11 women in our group. We spent more time than we thought we would - it was so much fun and educational. Coffee and chocolate tasting - OMG delicious! The guys were super nice and so passionate about what they do - which is admirable. I don't think any of us walked out empty handed. this will be a part of our annual trip to the area.

Lemon Ginger Chocolate
Aug. 2019 • Couples
If you are a fan of crystalized ginger candy try the lemon ginger chocolate. It's my favorite! I will be ordering some online once it cools down a bit just to make sure it doesn't melt on the way here.

Was totally captivated by the tour explaining their process for producing coffee and chocolate! It was refreshing to learn their commitment to supporting growers in addition to producing high quality coffee and exceptionally delicious chocolate (love the blueberry chocolate bar)!

I love Moka! I have done the Saturday tour multiple times (lots of great sampling) and I have their coffee and chocolate at home. My office also buys coffee from Moka. Great service, nice people, but moist importantly, delicious coffee and chocolate, full steps above anything else I have had.

Most Delicious and Informative Attraction in the Poconos!
Aug. 2018 • Friends
For the best chocolate anywhere in the US, go to Moka Origins on the campus of the Himalayan Institute in the Pocono Mountains of Honesdale, PA. Their bean to bar chocolate, carefully made by hand, is unsurpassed in flavor and texture. See how the chocolate is made, smell the aroma, and yes, taste the samples! This is a visit you won’t want to miss. Owner and tour guide, Jeff Abella, makes frequent trips to Cameroon, Mexico, and India to source his chocolate and superb coffee beans, for delicious coffee that is also hand made. My favorite? Cameroon! I subscribe monthly for free delivery right to my door. Enjoy your visit!

Best dark chocolate anywhere!
Jul. 2018 • Friends
If you're ever in the Poconos in PA, you MUST visit Moka. They have official tours on Saturdays, but their doors are always open and visitors are welcome to stop by anytime. And did I mention the free samples?! They have the best dark chocolate in a variety of flavors and it's all organic. And the company backs various global humanitarian projects, too, so you can satisfy your taste buds while making the world a better place! I love Moka!

Such a cool and informative visit!
Aug. 2018 • Couples
When we stopped at Moka Origins, I figured we would go in and see the retail items and be out in a few minutes, but I was oh so wrong! We were greeted so warmly from the time we walked in the door and met all 5 of the people working there! We had a wonderful French Press coffee, and sat down and learned about the company and all of the positive things they are making happen all over the world! Helping to create jobs for people in Africa, India, Dominican Republic, and few other places I know I am forgetting! We learned so much about chocolate and how it’s made! Did you know it has to ferment before the pods can be roasted? We saw some of the machines they use for roasting coffee and chocolate, and a handmade machine for separating the nibs from the pod! It was so cool! The innovation that they employ and the enthusiasm of all the employees who wear several hats is catching! We were so glad we stopped! Oh and chocolate samples were an extra special bonus! Go meet these people and see for yourself what they do, you will not be disappointed!
