The museum encompasses 3 buildings and has something of interest for everyone. From old toys and trains to old cameras and film equipment, from old clothing and furniture to old cars, from historical guns and military info to a church vestibule. Each section set up to enhance the items shown and the experience of the time period.

As you will see from the other reviews, the Isett Heritage Museum is a wonder-filled place unlike anything you are likely to experience elsewhere. I would basically call it a hands-on museum. It has thousands of items used in homes and business between 1870-1980s. Getting there. Use GPS and it will take you there. You head to Huntingdon, PA --... More

A must see museum, for nostalgia buffs. Spent several hours there. Tour guides were very knowledgeable about the various items, on display (about 40,000 at last count). Brought back great memories....

Isett Acres is history, culture, and education. It is a grouping of large buildings that have hidden treasures (large & small) at every turn. The visitor may enter the museum out of curiosity but he/she and will leave in awe.

This museum has the things you have seen in your grandparents house. And even maybe the first computer you had. If you have not seen or heard a player piano, you can hear one here. I kept calling to my wife, come here, this is just the thing my mother had in her kitchen. And here is my first camera.... More

If you like stepping back in time to see some older collections of various items stop here and check it out. Most important thing is to allow plenty of time. Also if you are a collector then you will be envious of what you see. It is a guided tour. There are some items you can touch but people please... More

Each building was spotless. Each collection was arranged in. Its own little space with ample room to view and enjoy each item. There literally was something for everyone... a true step back in time. What a fascinating collection of Americana!
