- Enjoying few hours in these beautiful gardens (different themes). - Electric car will drop you to the exit once you finish the tour... - Good time to discover unknown trees, vegetal species... - Lack of information inside the reserve (maps, species). - Very few animals were seen, you shouldn't expect to see much of them. - This place is... This beautiful reserve is divided into several different gardens, you could spend a whole day exploring. We loved the palm gardens with the extensive ponds, and also the distinctive plants garden, with plants that made us laugh. There's a great sense of serenity in the reserve, only wish we could have stayed longer than the few hours we were there.

It's one of the beautiful parks I visit over the last years. You can walk for few hours around and enjoy the beauty of nature. For a bit lazy people are electrical cars available. I was totally surprised for the maintenance level there. If you like to spend a bit more time there take some drink and snacks with you.... More

This is a beautiful reserve with trees that will make you feel as though you are in Hawaii. The layout is nice and relaxing with peacocks freely roaming throughout the park. Unlike most Chinese tourist destinations, this one was surprisingly uncrowded and peaceful. You did have the occasional outbursts and screaming, but that was the exception rather than the rule.... There are many reviews here on parks, forests and gardens - I went to several in my time in Jinghong/Xishuangbanna and the best experience from a bad bunch was the Primeval Forest (also known as the Virgin Forest Park). FYI - went to Jinuo Shan (Mountain), National Forest Park in Mengla, Dai Village in Menghan near Ganlanba, Botanical Garden in... More

To get there: Take a bus from one of the Jinghong Bus stations (about 30 kuai). There are a few buses but try to get to the station at 9am to get some of the earlier ones. To return, just wait at the place you get dropped off on arrival and a bus will come. Ask if they are going... More

We were part of an organized trip in Xishuangbanna area and this was for the sure the best place we've visited. Everything is in perfect harmony with the nature, and nature is quite rich. Also many activities are held within the park. A great place to spend the entire day...
