We visit this pub on a regular occasion. The food is always fabulous and plentyful. I've not cleared my plate yet...though given a fab effort every visit. I noticed today there has been a bit of an update of decor. There has been a lick...More

The Dales Way walk here in Ilkley by the river Wharfe is very picturesque, especially on a nice sunny day. No doubt the more ardent and true ramblers and hikers will want to do the whole eighty some miles, but for pensioners like ourselves, a...More

Went here with the missus and a mate for a great time geocaching. Lots of nice scenery and great for an explore not to far from home. Not suitable for pushchairs etc as it is quite rocky and you're tempted to go off piste.

This is the start of the 81-mile walk to Windermere in the Lake District. Once you leave the town of Ilkley, the Inns and Restaurants are sparse so enjoy a day or two here and walk along the river past the park and playground.

I should expect so as they have a pub dog. There is also a nice outside area if the weather is good. I'd double check though.
