Interesting, but not astounding. This place is stooped in history, but it doesn't glare you in the face. It is probably better suited to people with a deep fascination for all things ancient, that can look at the site and "read between the lines"as it...More

Located very near Woodhenge, this site is what's left of the village believed to be where the builders of Stonehenge lived. It was interesting to visit and learn about the site.

Good walk with great views across the fields down to the river Avon. Very little to see here and no information about the area that I could see which is a shame.

We visited Durrington Walls as part of a private day tour that included stops at Stonehenge, Avebury Stone Circle, Lockeridge Dene, West Kennet Long Barrow, Woodhenge, and Silbury Hill. We felt these stops helped give us context and a better understanding of the time period....More

Not worth making a special trip for but if you're visiting Stonehenge then it would be good to go a few miles extra to see Durrington Walls. This is another neolithic monument - a large circular earthen work, just next to Woodhenge. Impressive but not...More

Walls? Well there are no obvious walls to speak of. There is a walk that is recommended, leaflets describing where to go, and the information is very interesting. I understand more is being discovered ongoing. Earth shattering history.

I drive past these every day on way to/ from work. I have walked over them, I have flown a model plane around them. Only recently were the walls actually ‘discovered’ and the importance realised. Every week it seems, new information is turning up. Was...More

considering you can't see very much, found sight very interesting. Definitely need either a guide or guide book for this site.
