Frequently call in here on our way to the West Country, either for morning coffee or a light lunch. Plenty of cafes and eating places to choose from and on the last visit which was a Wednesday an interesting market was in progress

Love this place. It’s where I live and even with its crazy traffic, unpredictable pedestrians and enthusiastic parking wardens it’s still one of the most beautiful High Streets I’ve seen. Great cafes and restaurants, friendly locals and lovely market twice a week.

I drove through Marlborough a couple of times en route to Avebury and stopped off for two hours to explore the shops and visit the church. Lovely town.

Not a bad place to potter around, but expensive and mainly exclusive shops, where you won't find many bargains! A very long street - so be prepared to trek a long way and pay more than the average price for most things. I live nearby...More
