Passed a couple of lovely hours here over Easter weekend - the gardens are immaculate, tended with a sense of humour too. Well worth the modest charge. Enjoyed treading carefully through the labyrinth too - it takes longer than you might expect. The staff in the tea rooms are very friendly, menu looked very tempting but we just wanted hot... More

Gardens are beautiful and very reasonably priced for entry--- tearoom with children's play area is lovely and food is very good.

Visited today but although enjoyable we did feel it is a little overpriced at £3.50. An hour or so sees it done. Though there is plenty for children to enjoy-lots of quirky things for them to find. Cannot comment on the tea rooms and gift shop not yet open. Enjoyable but left wanting more.

we started our visit with a stroll around the show gardens, costs £3.50 each and takes 20 minutes or more. its a pleasant garden but plants are poorly labelled considering it is a show garden. We had coffee in the café- I asked for a very hot latte which wasn't hot and an Americano and was served filter coffee. The... More

Great gardens, really full of interest. Much larger than we anticipated and many quaint and interesting features. Very well designed. Nice cafe with good choice of drinks.

This was the first visit for my wife, mom and myself to Whitlenge. It was a very pleasant visit although on this particular visit we were unable to go into the gift shop as it is not open until Easter which was a shame. We also did not visit the show garden. We had something to eat in the tea... More

This is basically a garden centre with a café and a walk through gardens with some quirky features. We went in March so there were not many flowers out so at that time of year it was a bit dismal. Would suggest a more interesting time to visit is in the summer. The toilet facilities provided are somewhat basic.

A nice place to bring the little one for a morning or afternoon. Lovely for a walk around the pretty fairy garden then tea and cake at the friendly cafe.

This is not the cheapest place to visit, but the children love it. The gardens are great and the children have things to find! There are lots of garden ideas for the adults as well. The walk ends with a grass maze and a tor, which the children love running round. We visited on a "children's craft day", which was... More
