Went here as part of our Boat Club day out. It was a nice little find. They had activities for the kids and folk music for the grown ups. We enjoyed having a walk around the museum and the old forge itself.

An interesting museum telling the story of an industry that I'd never thought about. Well laid out in historic buildings with informative staff and volunteers. Not suitable for those with reduced mobility because of stairs, some very steep.

This restored water powered needle mill and the ruined Abbey are very interesting giving a snapshot of how hard and dangerous life was for those involved.

The museum is small but interesting, especially when combined with Bordesley Abbey. Good weather is essential though.

This was an education on how they produced these items in the past and the terrible conditions suffered , the staff were very helpful and informative . A number of stairs but quite wide ones so we were able to move about with care.
