Popped in here for about half an hour as needed to fly a kite or two. Small, relatively quiet beach with few facilities and a pretty little church on the shoreline. (Pity can't seem to submit photographs of it!)

Easy access from parking lot; walked down with a 94yo. Church is full of history and interesting quirks and artifacts. The graveyard has been dug madly by badgers, have never seen this anywhere else! The beaches are lovely, unspoilt, full view of endless waves breaking...More

There is a National Trust car park at the end of the lane that takes you through the small hamlet of Gunwalloe and on to Church Cove. It is about a mile past the Halzephron pub. In the far right hand corner as you drive...More

Visiting in October, we could take the dogs and it wasn’t busy. We loved this beach! So unspoilt. Beautiful sunny day, gorgeous setting with the little church overlooking the beach and fabulous views from the cliff tops. Being National Trust members we had free parking...More

We picked blackberries on our way to the beach. There was a really nice church and cottages on the way. The weather was lovely and sunny. Lovely views from the beach, a great relaxing afternoon. Fab.

A lovely stretch of beach, with only a handful of people on it on a lovely afternoon in August. It's not sand, though: it's small pebbles. And it drops away quite quickly as you get into the waves. But gorgeous views and clearly not too...More

Doesn't get much better than this, one of those beaches that enables you to sit and relax for hours on end, without any form of disturbance. Parking is easy and the roads accessing the beach aren't of any concern. Would highly recommend.

Two beaches - we visited the dog friendly beach. Very rocky but a great beach and less busy than the other one.

Two different beaches, one sandy and one rocky both great in their own way. Sandy one has life guards. Strange little church worth a visit. Little food kiosk doing ice cream, chips, tea and coffee etc...National Trust car park with machines and on our visit...More

Love coming here. Easily accessible. Easy to park. Lifeguards present. It is nearly always windy here. Family friendly. Bit gravelly though if you prefer soft sand. Charming little church.

I can't remember such a gravestone. I've done a quick bit of research and if you go to Cornwall Online Parish Clerks and find the parish of Gunwalloe there is an e-mail link to the local Clerk (Geneology) who can probably... More
