I researched this place looking for things to do in Cornwall and was not disappointed. Golitha Falls is just outside Liskeard, has free parking, free toilets and a smoke house restaurant (seasonal opening times). We took sandwiches, snacks and drinks with us (Cornwall can be pretty expensive so we wanted to rein in our spending a little). The walk to... More

We visited here whilst on our honeymoon. We were staying in Bodmin and it was recommended by the lovely and very helpful lady at Bodmin Tourist information. We had lovely weather and so didn't mind being in the shade for a short while. It was an interesting walk along the side of the river rapids of the falls. I think... More

Easy to find, a great walk by a river and in woods, plenty of photo opportunities. Good for dog walkers and could be partly suitable for less able walkers.

Visited on a warm sunny day, and had an pleasant walk by the river, quite uneven and would be slippy in wet weather. Beautiful area. Dogs on lead welcomed, toilets opened but cafe closed.

We took our dog to Golitha Falls for an explore and we loved it. It's so beautiful. We spent a couple of hours there enjoying the scenery and did the long walk around. We visited early morning and pretty much had the place to ourselves. And if you have time, we'd highly recommend a shake and a slice of cake... More

Really pretty woodland walk with a few different routes. My dog loved playing and swimming in the river!

The falls were recommended to us by a local landlord. We visited with two teenage and one 10 year old son. We all loved the walk and falls. It was all very pretty, peaceful, but not too strenuous. The ice cream from Inkies at the car park was superb.

Go here! Take your kids and your dog and have an adventure. It felt enchanted and it was truly beautiful. Also go to Inkies smokehouse after your hike and treat yourself!!

What a delightful little place on the moors, and yet again free of charge, no parking fees, loos reasonably maintained. The only downside is the people with dogs using this place, we like the previous reviewer saw bags hung in the bushes on several occasions where people had picked up dog mess then hung it up! Why for heavens sake... More

As usual a Lovely walk was spoilt by numerous poo bags scattered along the path, my friend picked up at least 10 bags and some poo without! This is a fantastic spot especially now the toilets and cabin are now open. Parking is free so dog owners, you know who you are please pick up after your dogs!
