We were told about this walk by a friend of my husband, and boy were we not disappointed, it was a smashing walk and the dog had a whale of a time. But the path was not very well sign posted, this didn't detract from our enjoyment. We had a lovely brunch at Inkies smokehouse which is in the car... More

We visited here with our parents, and dog , for a walk. It really Is a beautiful, peaceful place with lots of easy access to the water for the dogs to have a paddle. We can't wait to return! even the rain didn't dampen our enjoyment.

This was a great walk, it could be a bit rough if you stray from the main path. The car park has great ice cream and toilets too.

We have visited the place when it was a rainy day, therefore we were soaked in water but we did not mind. We had to be more careful because of the mud which was still bearable. We met lots of people, families with dogs, children so it is not a very difficult walk. The parking is free and it is... More

Golitha Falls is a magical place, well worth following the river down through the series of waterfalls. Perfect for dogs, kids and walkers alike.

Just came across this woods while taking a shortcut to miss traffic. Most of it was easy walking underfoot. Ideal for dogs.

We visited on a sunny day in August, there is a lovely walk along the river and through the woods, the water is beautifully clear, lots of spots for paddling. We had our dog with us and he loved it. We carried on walking once the path ended and you can go a long way through the woods but it... More

some paths very challenging, not recommended for the faint hearted. Lovely for dogs, although poo bins would cut down on the amount of poo filled plastic bags left around the woods. We went expecting to go along the 6 mile circular route, but we couldn't find it! The paths could be better marked. We still had an enjoyable walk, very... More

Golitha Falls is a very popular woody walk next to the river. You can park for free in a carpark right next to it. I have never had a problem finding a space. The walk can get a bit muddy if there has been rain but there are several paths running alongside the river and lots for the kids to... More

It's not a long walk but it's really pretty and great for dogs. It's very peaceful and good for sunny or rainy days.
