Even toddlers can see these fish as they patrol the Aquarium,... 'Watching Humans'. Mum's can point out that 'they' are what Dad is trying to catch on the Harbour Wall !!!

Mevagissey Aquarium is Located on the Harbour of this delightful Cornish town. It is housed in a former RNLI Life-Boat Station. It is quite a small attraction, featuring local species of sea-life including fish, eels, crabs etc.. The tanks appear to be clean and well-tended and there are information displays to help in identifying the creatures on exhibition. There is... More

So tiny and cute - an aquarium with local species in a building the size of a shipping container that was the former lifeboat station. Well presented and free, so you shouldnt miss it. I would agree that some of the fish are a little large for the tanks, with too many in some also.

This little aquarium is sweet and quaint. It's housed in an old lifeboat house. It's free so easy to pop in and have a quick look, however there's not much to see, maybe 7 or so cold water tanks. Also some of the fish are large and the tanks are not particularly big yet had a lot of fish in... More

It may be small and sited in the old RNLI shed, but this attraction warrants not only a look at the fish that inhabit our shores but also donations to keep it afloat! Well presented, friendly and very informative; we learned loads and will return next visit!

Our sons had been here twice as kids so wanted to pop in again. It's very small and charming....a donation is the entry fee and there is a huge conger eel that's amazing to see as well as other interesting fish. Would keep younger kids entertained a bit longer.

Small aquarium in the harbor with a few tanks. Interesting little place and worth seeing during a walk around the harbor.

A very good use for the old life boat station. A very small aquarium but with a good number of species. It's free!!
