Yes, although you can learn to surf during all tides at Perranporth, wave characteristics are generally more forgiving on an incoming or higher tide. During our low season (Oct-May) we will operate either a morning (10am-12pm) or afternoon (2pm-4pm) session, depending on which is nearest to the high tide, and as demand and sea conditions dictate.
Favourable timings for lessons on those days: Mornings of the 12th & 26th, and afternoon on the 19th, based on the tidal forecast for those days.
