Very pleasant and easy walk.Lots of birdlife to be seen e.g.buzzard,kestrel,heron, cormorant, various ducks and geese.Walk does not go all around lake.We did half of it in a loop by road and ended by having lunch at Golden Lion pub which was very enjoyable.

Lovely staff on arrival. A clean reception ad kitchen. The food was delicious and very affordable. The reservoir was lovely with lots of water sports going on. The kayaking was very affordable. The atmosphere was relaxing and a lovely guitarist playing peaceful music.

We walked the reservoir several times with our little Cocker and it was just so beautiful watching the sailing dingys and wind surfers alongside all the wildfowl. There was even a r/c seaplane being flown which was fantastic to watch. Spent two hours here and...More

We've visited a few times for coffee or to walk around the lake but the weather this time was fabulous for sailing (it has often been too windy). Easy to hire a boat if you are experienced and equipment is provided. There were a few...More

yes, wheelchair access is not a problem. you can even walk a little along a path or two. it is also possible to take the chair into the cafe although its better to sit outside and enjoy the view (weather permitting.
