Brewery is well sign posted although car park work means parking in the upper over spill car park and a wet dash - not really clear what the situation was with bar, large shop and museum area all interlinked. Brewery tour is £12 per head which for a family of four (two teenagers) is a lot of money! ..and as... More

We were visiting St Austell from the south of Wales with the sole aim of visiting the brewery. We certainly were not disappointed! The centre itself is very well laid out, clean and welcoming. The tour itself was great value for money with a very informative tour and tokens to use on drinks or a tasting experience. The staff were... More

Having been on the brewery tour in the past, my wife and I decided to take both sets of in-laws out for lunch and the tour at the St. Austell brewery on a trip to Cornwall. Having done the tour before it was nice to see that some updates and changes had been made since our last visit. The tour... More

We visited as 2 families with young children, and the lady who we asked about a tour was just wonderful, dropping what she was doing to take us on a mini-tour which was interesting but not long enough to cause the kids to get restless. We visited last a few years ago, when there was just a shop, but now... More

The wife and I visited last week during a visit to St. Austell. The reception area is welcoming and we were told that a tour was just about to start if we wanted. We joined the tour hosted by Tracy who was fantastic. She explained the operation of the brewing, the history, and how the different flavours are achieved. She... More

We arrived quite late in the day (4pm) so did not give ourselves a lot of time to visit the brewery fully before it closed at 5.30pm. However, we were greeted by very friendly staff and given a very informative tour of the brewery by Anne. At the end of the tour we were given several drinks to sample before... More

We did the tour of the brewery, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the buildings were all clean and nice but ... it was a bit boring. Like having a tour of a factory. The tasting at the end was ok. Maybe they could make it more interactive somehow.

What a fantastic afternoon we have just had!! We paid for a guided ' experience' ! That is exactly what we got!! Our ambassador for the visit was Roy. He on his own made the visit so enjoyable and informative. He is a real asset to the company along with his wife who looked after us when we booked in.... More
