A great ferry service going from stone house in Plymouth over to Mount Edgcumbe in Cornwall. A short crossing of about 8 minutes with good views. Our kids always enjoy it 😃

The historic Cremyll foot ferry has apparently run since Saxon times. It goes between Admirals Hard in Plymouth and The Cremyll Mount Edgcumbe Landing in Cornwall....just a short hop across the Tamar. It runs roughly every 1/2 hour and is great value. Very friendly staff...More

Seven minutes from a tiny alley in Plymouth and you're in Cornwall. It's a lovely way to see the city from a different angle and very cheap at just 1.50 for an adult single ticket.

A half hour service with a 5 minute crossing. Reasonable price and on a sunny day a great open top deck expereince - the view and various boats around. Do visit Mount Edgcumbe as well!

My wife travels the Cremyll Ferry almost daily midweek, and myself on occassions with my work doing walking tours. A great service, and always put on extra staff and bigger vessels during the busy periods. Welcoming friendly crew. Cyclists and doggy friendly. Our three year...More

We took this to Mt Edgecombe, ferry was clean and comfortable. We sat on the top deck and the views are incredible. We actually saw jellyfish in the water which was surprising. Parking was difficult as there was no spaces so we ended up parking...More

We were in a hurry due to being soaked by the rain and didn't check where the ferry was headed - our fault not theirs. Friendly and efficient - would use again.

Pleasant easy hop from Admirals Hard to Mount Edgcumbe. Very cost effective (single fares cost £1.50 for adults, 75p for kids) for the 8 minute journey. The views of the Tamar are a bonus. Sit on the upper deck if the weather allows.

We were very lucky and only had to wait 5 minutes for a space in the free car park on strand street which is only 150 yards from the ferry. The ferry is a bargain at only £1.50 per person and although it doesn't take...More

There's a car park quite close to the Cremyll ferry and there's also parking at Royal William Yard, which is only about 5 minutes walk away.

There is a medium sized (hardly ever full) car park on the Cremyl side about 75m along the road from the ferry landing and pub in the direction of Maker and Rame.
