Have always loved using this ferry between Devon and Cornwall. It’s very short as journeys go. But gives a nice view of the River Tamar. It can also save time if you need the local area. Waiting times aren’t too bad.

We used this service the whole time we stayed in Torpoint and wanted to cross to Plymouth. An excellent crossing service which is free for foot passengers and takes no time at all.

Nice trip across the river. With three chain pull type ferries continuously running, the wait wasn't too long either. These things sure take a lot of cars, and it's a pleasant little trip. Enjoyed it!

I’ve never been to Cornwall before and we decided to use the Torpoint ferry from Plymouth rather than the road bridge. The weather was outstanding and the crossing, which only takes a few minutes was idyllic. Lovely views up the river and the naval ships....More
