The Courthouse is a lovely historic building, we thought we'd splash the $9 and see the spectacular sound and light show whilst there. A video presentation to start was ok and a chance to sit a while- we then went into the courtroom to see the trial which was frankly rather feeble. Small shop selling books- soaps (?) etc. Given... A place which is compact in terms of space and yet full of the history of the legal system of a bygone era. I especially liked the mock courthouse and the drama played out there, related to a heinous crime in the past. It made the story telling come to life. We were allowed to wonder around the museum at... More

Sometimes you have to be careful about believing advertising. A Spectacular light and sound show is probably stretching things a little here However it was an interesting tour and I am pleased I did it to learn a bit more about the town Overall Berrimah is worth a visit

Berrima the village has tales to tell and the Courthouse which is now not in use is run by volunteers and so the gold coin donation helps to maintain the building. It was to be demolished but the local folk worked to get it back into what it is today. Sure the dramatization of the court case of the first... More

The Berrima Courthouse was very interesting, the video shown at the beginning was very informative. The recreate the trial in the actual courtroom was fun to watch and I learnt something to! Would recommend a visit if you are passing through Berrima 😊

As we arrived at 3.40 & this attraction closes at 4pm we were not allowed to enter as the attendants told us we would not have enough time to see the displays. We felt this decision should have been ours to make. If we were prepared to pay the entrance fee it should not matter to them if we only... More

I love history and stories but the stories from this court house were not that terrifying or interesting honestly. The experience was different. The sign at the front talks about a spectacular lighting show - maybe for the older generation its spectacular but for the younger generation, its interactive but only worth dropping in if you have nothing better to...
