Great place to walk to from the main beach. Any time of the day but especially at sunset. Great views of Mount Warning in the distant. The beach is known for clothing optional so don't be surprised to see a few sights.

This is a dog friendly beach and perfect long stretches for dogs to have fun, swim and socialise. There is also quite good surf, but it is a very long stretch of beach so there are many strong currents and rips especially at high tide...More

Belongil beach is much more quiet than Clarke's, Main beach, or Wategos, with far less tourists etc., all day. Morning walks are filled with dogs, as it is a dog-friendly beach, and the sunrise over the lighthouse is stunning.

Beautiful beach which is very quiet. Be careful for bluebottles if the wind is blowing towards the coast

Byron Bays best kept secret. This is the beach the locals go to. Quiet, clean with beautiful sand as far as the eye can see, We walked this beach for an hour every evening, feet in the warm Pacific waters.

Love this beach - so quiet when we there there early Feb. Very clean, crystal clear ocean. Good to get away from the crowds.

Hardly a soul on this huge beach which has gorgeous white sand, warm sea and crashing surf. Paradise.
