This is a good place to spend a little time, walking the track, visiting the lighthouse and swimming or sitting on the beach. The circuit track from the base to the lighthouse is popular for exercise and has lots of places to stop and enjoy the view.

A visit to the lighthouse in Byron Bay is a must. The view is magnificent and the most easterly point of Australia. For a donation you can go on a tour of the lighthouse which is great!

Great trip round the point here. Stop off at the top for a coffee. Stunning views over the bay, and if you are lucky you may catch sight of a whale or two. Intresting walk through a Naturepark, so watch out for the wildlife

Great walk and view October the whales are passing by as well as the pods of dolphins. Lighthouse offers great views of Tallow beach.

It is worth walking up from Wategos beach as parking up top can be difficult in peak season and at $8 a pop, not particularly cheap, although no doubt the money goes to a good cause! But the walk up (and back down again) is definitely... More

This is the 2nd time I visit Byron Bay. Everytime we always get different condition and weather, this time was colder but the view is still fabulous and catch your eyes :). When we enter the room and shop, quite nice as we found some souvenir in there.... No hesitate... For the magnet refrigerator 😊. Enjoy your visit and if... More

We love going up to the lighthouse and lookout when we are in Byron. Great sport to see whales, dolphins and turtles. A must for Byron visitors.

Love this place to catch a sunrise or sunset or even a dolphin or 2 surfing the waves, even managed to see some of the migrating humpback whales

I loved spotting the dolphins swimming far below the list house. Very exciting to see them pop up and down.
