Back in the late '60s, Ed Ullman and his father revived neglected grape vines where they lived at Kings Oak Farm in Huntingdon Valley. Wine was made shortly after that first endeavor into viticulture. Fast-forward to 1986: Ed and Lisa Ullman bought a 22 acre farm in Rushland, situated atop a ridge, just above the Neshaminy Creek. That year their house was built and the first acre of wine grapes were planted. A short 5 years later, the tasting room was opened across the driveway, and Rushland Ridge Vineyards & Winery was officially on the map as a Pennsylvania Limited Winery. Decades later, Rushland Ridge is still an estate-grown winery, growing 18 varietals on 6 acres. With anywhere between 9 and 14 different wines available for tasting, there is a wine for every palate, including a traditionally crafted Port. Tasting Room Hours: Thurs&Fri 3-6 Saturday 12-6 Sunday 12-4

Small vineyard with nice grounds. Poor to average quality wines. If you like fruit and local wines then this is your place to go. Friendly staff.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon w my wife. Nice staff offered about 6-8 choices. Most wines we tried were estate grown grapes. We bought the Traminette-very pleasant example of this great newer hybrid, the Chardonnay 2013-hot year gave nice ripe grapes w good varietal...More

This is not a glamorous winery but it is great! There is a house (with a pool) and a small tasting room--with a port-a-potty(which I was told was clean). Our visit included a wonderful tour of the grounds followed by a $5 tasting. The tasting...More

Rushland was a wonderful little vineyard. I'll admit--I had been there before and don't remember it being all that great, but our last trip there this past weekend was fantastic (maybe that year was a bad year for winemaking at their winery?). Not only was...More
