It's worth pulling off the highway for a quick leg stretch at this historic spot. The statue is... fine, but it's in a nice green setting and there are decent amenities nearby if you need to refuel.

I love Australia and I love the Dog on the Tuckerbox. So iconic. Maybe so iconic the danger is you are underwhelmed when you visit. But that aside. Do it. Take some pics. And hear yourself singing the old song...On the road to Gundagai.

Simply Awful: cardboard more tasty than the rubbery eggs that tasted as if had been kept warm for many hours. Seems like a lot of spin associated with being "organic" ... maybe it is all organic, but not well done and a lot of marketing...More

It's worth a visit. Statue a bit too small but it is what it is. And it has a really important historical component. So it's worth the visit if you're passing by. Don't pay any attention food or waisting time stopping at the fuel food...More

Stopped to see 'the dog'. Great picnic area and café come souvenir shop. Outdoor seating in shady areas, near other crafty shops.
