The actual homestead is beautiful. Though we did not enter the home to visit inside we went into the visitors store to get a look at the various items. A tour of the homestead is $125pp for I believe a dinner and tour. An overnight stay with dinner and tour I believe was $200 upwards. I could not justify that... More

We called and booked over the phone, I transferred the full amount by DD as they only take cash, cheque or money order. I called and left a message to confirm my payment was received... no response until few days prior when Sophia called to see if we were still coming as they haven't seen any funds come through... when... I had a lovely time there! I did the night tour of the house & grounds & I found it to be interesting! Our guides Lawerance & Sophia are very friendly.

My family live in Junee and I had always wanted to visit the homestead. We went up on Monday afternoon. Was met by the owners son and was shown some photos. We paid the admission fee and were given a map to look around the grounds. We found this perfect as we could explore at our leisure and weren't restricted.... More

Our Coach arrived with 44 on board and we were greeted by Lawrence and his Mum Olive and given a very informative and comical at times talk of how derelict "Monte Cristo" was and how Olive's hubby worked hard to bring it back to where it is today. The tour was very interesting (it was the day tour .. no... More

No street or fence signs to show the entrance and when we drove into a dilapidated drive way we wondered if we were on the right property. Once a magnificent building it needs a bit of cleaning and maintenance. Carpet rolled up wet and soggy on wooden balcony will rot the floor boards and judging by its appearance it has... More

Came for a visit here while visiting Wagga and surrounds. The kind and friendly current owner welcomed us and gave us a short commentary. The homestead is a little run down but its not without character. Keep in mind that the ghostly activity comes and goes, so expect nothing and you might be surprised!

On a trip to Junee decided that we have a look at the homestead. Found the admission a little bit expensive for what we got, thought that they might of given a guided tour of the homestead. Instead we were given a map and had to figure it out for ourselves. From what it was to what it is now... More

We did a tour on a Saturday afternoon with a group of friends. Sophia the guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. It was the sort of place I could spend all day at but others in the group wanted to leave once the tour had finished. Will definitely go there again.

My partner and I visited the homestead for the overnight stay ghost tour. We were given a lovely welcome, greeted at the gate and shown to our room. Dinner was lovely, a simple homecooked meal we enjoyed - dont expect the 5 star restaurant style! We felt very welcomed in the Ryan home as it is their family home and... More
