We went to have a look and only I got out of the car as the kids were asleep. The bridge is receiving some renovations and has scaffolding all over it.
Underneath you can have a swim but to me the water didn’t look to clean. People were swimming in it with their dogs.
If you go over it on your journey then maybe stop and take a picture but if you go out of your way like us then don’t waste your time. I let my kids stay Asleep

Stumbled across this bridge whilst travelling through Kangaroo Valley. Quite unique and unusual for Australia, so was pleasantly surprised to see it. Wouldn't go out of your way to visit, but if passing through Kangaroo Valley go check it out!

Scored a sunny day so decided to explore this area. Nice old “ one way” sandstone bridge. Surprised at the amount of water underneath and unfortunately all the weeds down there also.
Well known feature of this little town

This is a great place to stop for a quick selfie with a very old suspension bridge that is still in use today! Plenty of gift shops and places to eat on the weekend as well.

What a surprise!

In the midst of the glorious unspoiled scenery of Kangaroo Valley, we encountered a bridge with Victorian Gothic Revival crenellated turrets made of sandstone.

Worth seeing, if only for the shock value.

A lovely place to go for a little walk. There is not too much to do but if you wanted to have a picnic it would be a delightful place

Pass this bridge and what a wonderful piece of Victorian engineering left until now. Kangaroo river is best if you are a fly fisherman.

Beautiful old bridge. Undergoing renovation back in October but still looks splendid and regal. Postcard picture.

This adorable and historic bridge needs to be seen and enjoyed. It’s part of our history and is the loveliest bridge we have seen.

A beautiful bridge and can't image it is over 120 years old. Don't forget to get down to the river for a spectacular view. You can also hire a kayak or canoe to go on the water.
