Worth the visit if you are travelling near. We stayed in Kiama for the night so had a lovely sunset walk up there from our hotel before dinner. Plenty of parking though so very easy to access and attracts lots of people. Lots of park benches and places to sit to enjoy the views. The blowhole itself is great, the... More

The day we were here there was no movement at all so we stood on the very elaborate wooden walkway and looked at a black dark hole. I was disappointed as I haven't been for decades but remember still how exciting it was then anticipating and seeing the regular big gush and being sprayed with sea water .Perhaps it is... More

Fabulous sunny day with breezes coming in off the ocean made for spectacular displays from the blowhole.

Had a nice three nights in Kiama, staying at a holiday apartment with view of the water. Good restaurants, cute town with shopping, and many different choices for overnighting. There are two rock pool locations within easy walking distance. One, at the blowhole site, has three different depths of rock pools, so good place to take babies and toddlers. The... More

I remenber when I was a kid the blow hole was impressive and powerful now when it does blow it's like a limp lettuce leaf no crunch , but it still is a beautiful part of the world

My husband and I thought we would duck down to the blow hole after a very windy with a lot of rain. It was still very humid after our 37 degree days very windy and rainy but still fun waiting for those waves rushing up through the hole. This is still a fun morning out lots of cafes and shops... Great place to see.. the kids loved it, though it wasn't blowing to much the day we went, grab a bite to eat and sit on the grass and take in the water views, a must to see if you are in the area, quiet busy on the weekend, hard to find a park .

This was pretty typical of blowholes you might see along the coast. The plus here is that the area surrounding the blowhole was very nice; it included a rock pool, seaside park, visitor's center and overnight beach houses you could rent. The day we went was very overcast and wet but there was still quite a crowd. If it was... More
