Wow we were lucky. We just happened to be a perisher over the weekend of the biggest snow fall in months. The conditions weren't great for the first couple of days but cleared up nicely towards mid week. The cost is expensive when you are...More

Snow was fantastic, runs great but the weather left a lot to be desired.... rain and winds of 30km spoilt an otherwise fantastic 4 day trip with friends. We were all drenched right through to the skin and shivering but wouldn't give up due to...More

I must admit this was our first snow experience as a family & we aren't into skiing or boarding. We loved the ski tube, as it made the ski fields really accessible for inexpensive folk like us, even if it was a bit expensive. We...More

Something for everyone at Perisher, Pay for your passes and National Park entry in town if you arrive the day before skiing to save time and the crowds on the mountain.

I brought my toddler daughter to perisher for a snow experience at Perisher on 6 August 2017. I went to the perisher snow sports hire to get her a jacket, pants and boots for my toddler daughter. My toddler daughter was crying as she was...More

We had skiers and boarders of varying experience and all were catered for. A brief concern/distraction when all the people in the lesson must were directed to a 2nd meeting place at the bottom of a lift (within pointing distance so I went straight there)...More

Resort for all levels. Husband and son loved challenging runs, I loved the kms of gentle traverses between resorts.

I have always been a fan of Victorian ski fields for the prevalence of ski in - ski out. Thredbo also has this .... when the snow comes down to the village. Charlotte Pass also has this but getting there is a little more difficult....More

I came to Perisher to check off Australia on my map. I've spent significant time at Whistler and Lake Tahoe in North America. My only other Southern Hemisphere comparison is Mount Hutt, NZ. I knew going in that it was not going to compare to...More

I really love Perisher. It has a wide range of areas and plenty of fun and challenging runs for everyone. I have been to smaller resorts that feel very crowded but with Perisher you can get away from the front valley and find some space....More

Timing the snow here is just luck. If you are not driving, then fly to Canberra or Cooma and then hop on a bus. Canberra has great food and a few good tourist attractions. For accomodation in Perisher try the Stables.

Yes there is coach services during June even though it's not peak season. They are just not as frequent . As long as you not needing to go without notice frequently . As they go at set days and times.
