Very clean museum, the volunteers must work hard to keep everything looking inviting to browse. So much “stuff”!! All very interesting with such variety that anyone will become absorbed. Definitely worth a visit to the museum and the village.

This is probably the best laid out regional museum we have ever been to. Items of interest are arranged together in exhibit areas much like a household sort of alignment and the limited space is so well utilised. Bedrooms and all the associated paraphernalia, work...More

This museum gives a good overview of the various aspects of rural life in the Manning. The early pioneer families, and the service of many in the community.Crime is also featured in the cell that held the captured Jimmy Governor.

Was absolutely incredible for $4, so much to see here. The taxidermy display was awesome and the bird egg collection was quite fascinating. The elderly man who volunteered there was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the money.

Walked into this little gem with very low expectations being so remote. But be pleasantly surprised! This is a little piece of everything as you wind in and our of the rooms. Well worth a visit!

It is definitely worth doing a small detour from the highway or a stop on the way through Wingham, or perhaps a quick trip from nearby Forster. This museum is much bigger than one would expect in a small country town. There is just so...More

I think it would be about a 10 minute walk as the Museum is right in the centre of town.
