I knew very little about him, beside the basics that were taught. This was very informative memorial. A must see while visiting.

If you're in Jim Thorpe why not see his memorial? Consist of two statues and his grave. His story and that of the town name is interesting.

The two monuments are amazing likenesses of Jim Thorpe, right down to his fingernails. The little park itself does need some love and care. There is a lot of information about his life and such underneath almost yellowed 'glass', but nothing that I read that...More

Jim Thorpe created a very nice memorial to the great athlete. I was amazed over his accomplishments. I had not realized that he won both the decathlon & penthalon. My only complaint is tha tsome of the signage will need refreshing next spring.

It was an honor to learn about what a great athlete Jim Thorpe truly was. He has to be the most underrated and under-appreciated athlete of all time. Great place to stop.

Forget Cooperstown. This is a great place to pay respect to one of the greatest athletes to be a homegrown PA boy.
