First, let me preface my three star rating with the fact that this was the first rafting trip I ever went on so it's hard to know for sure how it compares. My 21 year old daughter and I took the "upper gorge" trip in late July. The check-in process was pretty smooth. Then we got our life jackets (no... More

I have to start by saying that I rate this as 5 Stars because of the staff. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, funny and professional. There was not a single occasion where we felt unsafe. The experience was fun and only mildly challenging. I was expecting a bit more from the river. For first time rafters this would be... More

The trip itself was good. It was the double release of the damn and the water was warm. The main area was ok. The bus ride was short, a little scary on the steep roads leading to the rapids. You then need to walk about 10 minutes down a rocky roadway and hills. Once in the raft the trip was... More

This is a very strenuous and intense activity. However, our group did have a blast. It was a thrilling and exiting trip! This was our first whitewater rafting outing, but it will not be our last! Though there were only couple of guides for the entire group, they did try their best (and very good at it) at keeping us... More

We really enjoyed our family rafting adventure. We were a bunch of beginners and a little worried that it might be too much for the younger kids, but it was perfect! Our guides were friendly and very helpful! We can't wait to try the dam release day next year.

For those who are interested in the gist of it. We went on the family style rafting with our two daughters, 9 and 15. It was fun, and the guides are professional and skilled and took care of us when we didn't know what we were doing on the water. We had three guides for about 15 or so boats?... More

We had taken 11:00 am timeslot for a group of 24 people for an 8 mile rafting which they told us would take 3 hours. We did not get on the boat until after 12:!5. They had us waiting around for a while doing nothing, when we went to the shop, the staff told us to go from one person... More

Just got back from our second rafting trip with Pocono Whitewater. We took our first trip as a group of four in August 2015 and had such a great time that this year we invited more friends and came as a group of twelve! The dam release trips are a wonderful day on the river, great for groups of any... More

We went on 8/20/2016. We are a family of 4. Our kids are 4yr and 5yr. We had a blast. I was very impressed on how professional and organized the tour was. For having 2 little kids with us I was a little skeptical about how it would turn out. We did the family white water rafting. Our kids loved... More

My grandson and I did this both for our first time of whitewater rafting. We didn't know what to expect. My 15 yr. old grandson volunteered to be the raft captain, which meant steering, giving direction, and leading the group. We both had a really good time, especially my grandson who had a "blast." The staff were all friendly and... More
