I've never ridden this before and didn't know what to expect, but it was a short, visually exciting ride to the top of the mountain that overlooks Johnstown, PA. Built to help the city's residents live outside the flood zone, it can take a car...More

You must experience this if you are in Johnstown. We loved it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Asiago's Italian Restaurant is at the top and you should dine there.

Great experience riding the incline trolley. Kids love it. Beautiful views of the city. Parking is limited. A wedding party was there taking pictures. Grab some ice cream at the shop. Souvenirs are a little pricey.

Went on with my 10 year old who loved it. The history behind it is interesting and the cars themselves are much larger than expected. Staff extremely friendly. Nice views as you go up. At the top there is an ice cream take out place...More

The Inclined Plane is a nice ride on a fun contraption. For moment, consider the engineering. Each car and load counterbalances the other and its load. So the comparatively small motor at the top is hauling only the difference in weight and overcoming mechanical friction....More
