We started our day traveling and visiting the Johnstown area at this small museum. It had a nice model of the area and a timeline of the original Johnstown Flood. There was also a short movie about the flood, along with multiple artifacts. Parking is...More

A terrific place to bring out of town guests, a GREAT place to bring school groups, and combine this with the Johnstown Flood Memorial for Motorcoach tours.

This small downtown museum is a gem and has a good overview movie, and many but not tons of exhibits. Nicely done

Small 1 room museum that charged 7 dollars a head. Too much for the exhibition. There was a movie that ws not working for some reason and a few of the exhibits were nice, but not worth the price.

The Johnstown Flood Museum is an interesting place. The video and exhibits give you an idea of what happened on that day. Now with that said, you add on the Incline Plane history and then drive up to St Michaels, PA to the Johnstown National...More

The Johnstown Flood Museum is located in the old Carnegie library building in downtown Johnstown. As other reviewers have noted, the movie is fine. The 3-D relief map and the 1889 flood artifacts are interesting. This museum and building has potential, so I was glad...More

After going to the NPS National Memorial first, coming into Johnstown to see the area which had the destruction and to the museum was a downer. Parking was nuts and so were the roads. Drove around in circles trying to find a place to park...More

We went through slowly, took in the excellent film and exhibits and it was about 2 hours, maybe a tad over. Very good presentations, very interesting museum.
