Kennett Square has a quaint downtown village with many small shops owned and run by the locals, who are very nice and friendly. Loved visiting Artworks Art Gallery, and also My Polished nail salon right next door. Very welcoming.

Everything and anything "mushroom". And, they have it, and for "kids" of all ages. They also have fresh mushrooms to purchase, of many types, and of all sizes. They have an interesting visual/tutorial on how mushrooms are grown. Informative and fun, really worth the "STOP" to see "everything about mushrooms"!! A "MUST SEE" for sure!!

A charming little shop with more mushroom "stuff" than you can imagine. From food to decorative and anything in between.

This is a little hole-in-the-wall shop that is all about mushrooms. They sell actual mushrooms, but most of the merchandise is non-food. They have shirts and other clothing, cookbooks, decorations, knick-knacks, etc. There is an exhibit in that back that used to be in the Mushroom Museum, now defunct, that shows how mushrooms are grown commercially. Interesting. The owner heads... More

During the holidays, you never know what shops are open between 5 and 6 p.m., but the lights are on here! Was looking for dried mushrooms for a Polish soup, and the owner knew just what was needed--porcinis. Soup was good, great shop.

I love the Mushroom Cap. They have so many random mushroom trinkets and souvenirs. Admittedly it seems a bit touristy, but I am a tourist after all! The fresh mushrooms are so much better than what you get at the grocery store and they keep so nicely in the refrigerator - much longer than I would have expected. They have... More
