Beautifully maintained, lovely staff. Great for a reflective day alone, a romantic trip with a loved one, or a day with the kids.

This is a seasonal display that is set in the conservatory and gardens. It incorporates music and special effects lighting. It begins at 8:30 PM in September and 7:30 PM in October. There are 3 displays in the conservatory, and the remaining displays are throughout the gardens. The outside displays are the best. There is one down by the big... More

Went over Christmas. Very beautiful. Lights were nice, trees were gorgeous. Would have liked to walk around outside more but it was very cold and windy. Gift shop is expensive but very nice. Crowds are huge. Takes awhile to get around. Going in the fall this year but will return at Christmas next year. Highly recommended!!

Longwood Gardens never disappoints. In any weather, in any season there is something lovely to see and experience. If you live within an hour of Longwood, seriously consider getting an annual Garden Pass. Buy in Mid-December and you get to see Christmas the year of purchase AND the following in one membership. Right now the Gardens are undergoing a major... More

I have loved this place since the first time I went over twenty years ago. My very good rating would be excellent had it not been for the water gardens and fountains being under repair, I mean gone and a big dirt hole in it's place. They're half the fun and enjoyment of the gardens. They won't be done with... More

Be aware that major renovations are ongoing Til spring 2017. Beautiful gardens. Lots of walking! We walked at least 5 miles and didn't see it all. Would recommend to anyone who wants a nice relaxing afternoon walk.

It is always nice to see how the 1 % live their lives. At least this family has given back to the country that provides the means for all that wealth. My wife loves the gardens and would go two or three times a year if I didn't demand some of areas of interest.

If you are in the area Longwood is a must. Even though the fountains are closed there is plenty to see and do

We are members of Longwood Gardens and our entire family has enjoyed the Gardens through many years. The acres of atrium are beautiful. For young children there is a great children's section - I walk through every time I'm there. If you are there in warmer weather, the lily pads and flowers are fantastic - one of my favorite areas.... More
