Nice

Nice smaller zoo type park. Smaller but enough to look at. Great local attraction for children. Friendly staff.

It was a really nice zoo...and you could get up close and personal with the animals. Enjoyed stopping and getting to walk around without a crowd.

Wonderful gem. Off the beaten track, but well-worth the time and travel. It's in a natural setting, so you have to watch your step and in some areas it can be a little tricky to maneuver a stroller. All the animals here are rescues and can't survive for one reason or another in the wild or have come from another... More

Love having a staff member talk to us about the lions in great detail. Then for the fist time to see them awake and hear them roar was amazing. Very clean place.

We have been to the country zoo several times and it's a nice 2 hours in a comfortable wood setting. The staff is friendly and they have a nice gift shop.

My mom, son and I went to the park this past Saturday as that is what my son wanted to do to celebrate his birthday. Prior to going we read some of the trip advisor reviews and I was a little uneasy after reading a lot of them thinking the place had gone down hill. I am glad that I... More

One of the best places in the Poconos. A natural setting zoo for animals. Kids love seeing the animals up close. Set in amongst the trees, has lots of shade. The only caution is to watch where you walk, the ground is rocky.Hold your little ones hands so they don't fall. Snack bar and a great gift shop with affordable... More

This is a great trip with the kids for a few hours. The price is fair, the food isn't even priced that bad. The kids enjoyed it very much. Wear sneakers and if you are using a stroller be prepared to watch where you are walking. The paths are dirt and you will find limbs and rocks in your path... More

This is a very nice little zoo with the added attraction. Of timed lorry feedings . You can go in and feed little parakeet like birds. Very cool and kids love it. But really. 18.50 per adult and 12 bucks per child is outrageous for a Zoo this size. Too expensive for large families in my opinion. My husband skipped... More
